Our Providers

The clinicians at Storrs Pediatrics strive to form strong relationships with our patients and their families. Our primary goal is to educate and support families in a professional, kind, and empathetic environment. We provide comprehensive pediatric healthcare, which includes all aspects of physical and emotional health for infants, children, adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Storrs

Founder

Dr. Lisa Storrs is a board certified Pediatrician with 20 years of clinical practice. She studied Kinesiology and Dance at The College of William & Mary and went on to get her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Maryland. She served in the United States Navy for 7 years as a physician. After practicing in Middle Tennessee for 5 years, she opened her own practice in 2018. Dr. Storrs lives in Brentwood with her wife, their three children and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She loves dancing, yoga, hiking, beach trips and animals of all kinds!

Sarah Walsh

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Sarah earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2008. Sarah has been practicing pediatric medicine in the Tennessee area since that time, and joined Storrs Pediatrics in 2019. Sarah enjoys reading, doing anything outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family. She is the proud mother of two boys.

Office Policies

Make sure you read our office policies. Understanding these policies will keep you in good standing with Storrs Pediatrics.

Cancellation & "No Show" Policy

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, you must do so 24 hours prior to the appointment. You may do this by calling our office at 615-739-5345. As a courtesy to our patients, our practice sends text and email reminders for appointments. Not confirming an appointment reminder does not constitute canceling an appointment. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance and appointments missed without cancelling, will be considered a “no show.” All “no shows” are subject to a $50 no show fee. This fee is not billable to insurance and must be paid prior to scheduling your next appointment.

Staying an Active Patient

Patients are required to keep all milestone well checks. The schedule for these well checks is as follows:
3 to 5 days
1 month
2 months
4 months
6 months
9 months
12 months
15 months
18 months
24 months
30 months
3 years
Every year thereafter
Well checks are not only for vaccines. They are a vital part of providing proper care for your child.

Financial Policy

Insurance Plans

It is your responsibility to provide accurate and updated insurance information to our office. Please provide an up-to-date insurance card at each visit. If the insurance card you present is invalid, you will be responsible for the payment of the visit and to submit the charges to the correct plan for reimbursement.

It is your responsibility to understand your benefit plan and what services are covered. If you have questions about your coverage, please contact your insurance company prior to your appointment. You are responsible for all services provided. If for any reason your insurance does not pay, the balance is your responsibility.

All copays are due at time of service.
‍
If, after processing claims through insurance, a balance remains, this will be due within 30 days. If you are unable to pay the full amount, please contact our office and we will work with you regarding a payment plan.

If you are uninsured at the time of service, payment must be made in full at that time.

Self-Pay Patients
‍
Self-Pay patients are expected to pay in full at the time of service. This includes all Medi Shares and out of network plans. Our office will be happy to provide a super bill with all necessary codes for you to submit for reimbursement.
